F is for fleece

Fabulous fleecy Friday. I washed more of the Merino and Cormo that showed up last week. I'm trying to be more patient and preserve more of the lock structure. Did I say that already? I'm arranging the locks in the mesh bags, sweater or lingerie size. Then I clip the bags to a broiler grate (why not? the house came with an extra one, its never been used for anything) for washing and rinsing. The grate is heavy enough to keep the fleece submerged, but allows water to flow through. The tension from the clips help keep the locks separated during the process.
