Hurrah for Local Fiber Fests!

Last weekend was the inaugural Vista Fiber Arts Fiesta.  Finally! A local fiber event. I'm just tickled. I went on Saturday and the weather was fantastic. Warm and sunny, but not too warm. There were 26 vendors, a spinners "corral" and some cute little Alpacas. Plus, the event was held on the grounds of the Vista Antique Gas and Steam Engine Museum, and one of the buildings contained all sorts of old looms. I had a great time shopping and visiting and really hope this becomes an annual event. There's enough room for more vendors, and maybe even some more fiber bearing animals.
