Because really, how many other customers say, "It's ok, no hurry." when told there's an hour and one half wait until the car is done. Here I am, with my ever ready knee swift, waiting for the new tires to go on my car.
So true! I finished Kitchener-ing the toe of my sock today while I was out and felt panicked because I didn't have another project ready. It was a close call, but I managed to get home safely.
That's a good point about knitters being patient customers (as long as they have their knitting with them!) Headsets are great for long holds on customer service phone calls, too. :)
